Can you believe that we graduated over a year ago? Time flies when you're having fun (or working long hours)! We've all had quite an active year—make sure you keep in touch and let us know what you're up to!

Windsor Salet recently dropped me a note: "A few weeks ago, Katie Stone took Katie Uhre (visiting from Boston) and I with her to an opening at Stef Tjaden's gallery, Artists Space. There, we met up with Lilly Wollman, Ben Patch, Melissa Lafsky and Alex McCormick. Alex, Katie and Stef all work for N.Y.C. galleries, so they keep those of us consultants and bankers cultured.' "

Windsor also let me know that Elizabeth Pollina and Jay Cormier are engaged. Elizabeth e-mailed me to let me know that Jay proposed on Easter Sunday before Mass at St. Patricks Cathedral in N.Y.C. A summer 2002 wedding is planned and after, Elizabeth and Jay will live in Philadelphia, where Elizabeth will continue working on her Ph.D. in chemistry at UPenn and Jay will continue working on his pharmacology Ph.D. at Columbia in N.Y.C.

Also in mid-April, Kacey Perkins and Veej "William" Tift were engaged in Santa Barbara, California. Kacey reports that she and Veej are both very excited and considering the number of e-mails I received, I think its safe to say that their friends are psyched for them as well. Both are currently living in Hanover and a wedding date has yet to be set.

Brian Feldman reports: "Dan Becker visited me down at UVA Law in April, driving all his worldly possessions from Salt Lake City, Utah. He showed some law students the finer points of Dan Becker Dance; we all stood in awe. After Dan's departure, I flew out of D.C. and into Portland, Oregon. I had to change planes in Oakland, California, where I dialed up Nils Ericson and Ellis Ford for some short conversation for the 10 minutes before boarding. Mike Pirrozi and Jolyon Rivoir-Pruszinski caught me at the baggage claim in Portland and drove me back to the apartment of Melissa Wise and Cheryl Shannon. Cheryl and Mike Pirrozi are now engaged, with plans to get married on the 22nd of September in Oregon."

Bev Guttag was "in D.C. until December, working on the National Abortion Federations crisis hotline. Then I went to Spain with Kate Sullivan. Since January I've been working for SEIU- the AFL-ClO's largest and fastest growing union—as a union organizer. I've worked on campaigns in Pittsburg (RN's at UPMC) and Baltimore (service and maintenance staff at John Hopkins, GBMC and Sinai) and, as of mid-April, I'll be in LA, helping workers at Catholic Health Care West form a union. I've been busy!"

Quick update on future plans: Olivia Carpenter, who has been living and working in N.Y.C. since graduation is headed to the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies for a master's program in environmental management in August. Curtis Dozier will be moving to Berkeley, California, next year to start graduate school in classics at the University of California. Michael White is currently volunteering with Americorps as a reading tutor and mentor for challenged elementary school students in Asheville, North Carolina. Beginning this summer, Michael will be attending Duke Law School. Erin Miller is working in the corporate securities department at Seward & Kissel, LL.P. in Battery Park, N.Y.C. "I find the work interesting and the atmosphere is great! I will begin applying to law schools this fall and hope to stay in the area."
