Tom Dublin reports sadly tha this younger brother, Amos, an honorary '32er, died recently. Tom is living alone, with age disabilities preventing doing everything that needs to be done. Like many of us? Jack George in Woodstock, Vermont, is in an assisted living facility connected to a nursing home for his wife, Helen. Says he's lucky to retire after teaching for 40 years and growing Christmas trees for 10. Jack Eames, struggling with Parkinsons and stroke recovery, is also in a nursing home with wife, Margaret, nearby. Fritz Browning reports from a retirement retreat in Indianapolis. His activities include exercise, Bible and writing classes, his pen covering the stages of life, history and matters of public concern. In a livelier vein, Andy Cummins and Marian, married for 62 years, went white-water rafting in the Canadian Rockies last year and kayaking in Florida last winter. They understand that all Dartmouth grads become skilled in these sports after they reach 90. "It must be the pure Hanover air." But his card is postmarked Pittsburgh! If any of you visits Waikiki, just phone Ben Cowden at 941-4387 and he'll treat you to a $12 roast beef dinner at the Wailani Coffee House. Or you can take him for the same beef dinner for $36 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village across the street. Its new 3,000-room, 25-story Kalia Tower is lavish beyond belief. Ed Marks and Vera are abandoning Cambridge for the San Francisco area.

Plan now for our "Survivors' Super 70th" on June 7-9,2002.
