The class has established the John J. Gillespie Award ("the Gillespie") to recognize classmates who have organized class events to further our connecting. The first award was given to John Gillespie at the Boston luncheon for his continuing efforts. The second award was given to Jerry Goldstein for organizing and hosting our great 70th birthday party.

As you read this column, the class golfers are gathering at the Plantation Inn in Crystal River, Florida, for our annual golf outing and the class skiers will be doing their thing at Mt. Snow and Vail and Aspen. Still to come is the gathering of fish stories at the Rainbow Lodge in Navajo Dam, New Mexico in July. (Contact Jim Adams.)

John Fenn and Don Berlin are working on the second class boat trip, to be held in the fall of 2004. Plans have not been finalized but one possibility is sailing our own three-master (powered) down the Dalmatian Coast. Let us know of your interest.
