Approximately 205 classmates and guests attended one or more events during our June 200245 th reunion. After paying all the bills, we had an excess of $9,400, which will provide seed money for our 50th coming up in 2007. Our reunion leadership team of Dan Goggin and Bob Marchant has agreed to co-chair the 50th.The committee has already met twice to begin preliminary planning. The goal is to have every'57 attend.

John Citron has been treasurer and trustee of the Helen Keller Institute Worldwide for the past six years. The institutes two divisions are dedicated to (1) treating refractive errors in adolescents and (2) administering programs in eye health, health and nutrition, river blindness and trachoma. It operates into nations in Africa, Asia and the Americas. The headquarters office located at Ground Zero, just across the street from the World Trade Centers Twin Towers, was destroyed on September 11,2001. No one on the staff was injured. The financial loss was great and produced an outpouring of concern and support from around the world. John was instrumental in finding new quarters in midtown Manhattan, where the institute has emerged stronger and continues its mission.

I have received a recent newspaper profile of Sensis Corp. in Dewitt, New York. Jud Gostin was one of the co-founders and is now president. The company designs, develops, tests and manufactures hardware and software for air traffic and air defense systems. Sensis has 260 employees and an annual revenue of $60 million. A'57 business success story.

Clark Bryant is also now in upstate New York. He spent 36 years in Vermont as a family practice/internal medicine physician, "mostly as a loner but in the end selling out to the hospital so I could pass on the practice." Clark does parttime work and has community involvement "plus the grandkids."

The Jacksonville, Florida, Business Journal took a look at the top executives with some of the areas largest business management consultants and among them was Mai Robinson, president of LogiSys. The article mentions a positive perspective and international experience as keys to his success as a consultant.

Bill Davidow, a high-tech industry executive and a venture investor for more than 30 years, has been named to the Santa Fe Institute board of trustees in New Mexico. In this role, Bill will help advance SFI's resolve to "build a unique community of excellence in the world of science and scholarship."

In San Diego, California, Superior Court Judge Bill Draper has retired after more than 16 years as a trial judge. Bill was a deputy district attorney from 1978 until his appointment to the bench. Before that he was a Marine Corps career officer, served as director of the Naval Justice School at Newport, Rhode Island, retiring after 21 years of military service.

Don't forget the Bartlett Tower Society. It can be as easy as including Dartmouth in your will. Joe Stevenson has details (517 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19106-3707).
