Florrie Fitzhugh, in a long Green Card, reports the celebration of the birthdays of a couple of our younger classmates (she thinks). Bill celebrated his atop Bald Top Mountain in Vermont, where oldest son Bill and his wife, Lynne, have established a vacation home. Bill Sr. enjoyed his lobster and gifts. Bill Mathers enjoyed his 90th while Myra celebrated her 83rd at their new and smaller family home right near the older big one. Florrie, Barb and John Gilbert, together with five "kids" and spouses (who put on a fun program), celebrated with about 40 guests. Bill's knees bother him from a car accident, but he wants you to know that he drank to us all. I called Yank Price, spoke to him, and he sounded just fine.

My Joy, in addition to having terrible hearing, bad macular degeneration and Alzheimer's, just fell and fractured her hip, landing her in rehab. But she is still a joy, and takes it all in good spirits. I still manage to get in two rounds of golf a week, duplicate bridge, two hours in the pool every day plus other activities, including still recovering from my stroke.

Please, all of you, make my life easier by contacting me by Green Card, e-mail and phone so wonderful Helen Geloff and I have something to write about, or it will be the end of Class Notes and newsletter. Hang in there, keep in touch.
