All right, we are going big-time with this set of Class Notes. But a reminder before I delve any further: Reading about these classmates should not in any way deter you from sending me news on your life, even if you consider it mundane, run-of-the-mill stuff. As Chevy Chase once said to Danny Noonan (or the character who played Danny Noonan), "The world needs ditch diggers, too, Danny." Trust me, I often think about that line as I plug away at my desk located next to the women's bathroom. What? Too much information?

That being said, I got another nice note from Nicole Landaw, whose jewelry continues to earn acclaim—in May she was honored with the Gen Art Design Vision Award for Accessories at the Styles 2004 International Design Competition and Fashion Show. Gen Art is a national arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging talent. Congratulations, Nicole!

Tim Greenberg wrote an e-mail to the good people of DAM, and they forwarded it to me. Tim did not mention what is going on in his life (we can save that for the next issue, Tim); however, he did write in about Todd Richman, who has evolved into quite the film editor. His most recent work? None other than the controversial and enthralling thralling Michael Moore documentary, Fahrenheit9/11, which won the prestigious Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Todd—who can be found in the credits as "T. Woody"—-also worked as an assistant editor on Moore's Oscar-winning documentary Bowling for Columbine.

Tims e-mail included a number that indicated a Manhattan address. If so, he might want to keep a close eye on the race for Manhattan borough president, in which Brian Ellner is one of the lead candidates. It is an elected office that will be voted on in 2005, but as any of us in politics knows, the campaign never truly stops. (Now didn't that statement sound like I know what I'm talking about?) If you're still in Manhattan, you can vote for Brian; check out his campaign Web site at www.ellnerformanhattan.com.

One person who will no longer be able to cast a vote for Brian is Samir Desai. The man who still thinks he can outgun me on the basketball court moved with his wife, Nilam, out of the big city and into Ramsey, New Jersey. Hey, Sammy, maybe you can put a hoop up in the driveway and work on your game, baby! Our 15 th reunion isn't that far away!

Finally, Cindy (Hansel) Sherlock sent in a baby announcement—two, actually. She and her husband, Michael, had a baby girl (Michaela Stephanie) on February 9. And former Class President Extraordinaire Anita (Reithoffer) Tucker and her husband, Jay, had a boy (Gavin George) on March 10. Congrats to both mothers! By the way, it's true. My office really is next to the women's bathroom.
