Living in a small town has its ups and downs. Barnesville does have a variety of offerings, including an 18-hole course built by a local patriot and his son. The pro shop lacks some of the amenities, though: the shop keepers are armed with fly swatters, and if you want to watch the local sports on TV, you sit in a folding chair. However, the golf course is perfectly beautiful and lined with vistas of pastures, lakes, and gentle rolling hills (the greens fees also beat those at Sea Island, hands down).

Jean Nelson reports that he and his wife, Mary, are living in Albany, N.Y., where Jean is the Associate Director of Continuing Legal Education in the New York State Bar Association, the largest private, voluntary state bar association in the country, They are debating mandatory continuing legal education for New York lawyers. Jean and Mary have three sons: Joey 8, Jeffrey 5, and Christopher 3.

Ed Dusllak practices medicine in Burlington, N.C., where he says he has become fond of bluegrass music. Ed and his wite, Carla, celebrated the birth of their fourth child, Margaret Mary. Their other three children are Teresa 6, Eddie 5, and Catherine 3. Ed was recently elected president of the Alamance-Caswell County Medical School.

Tom Short and his wife Caryn have recently made their fifth transfer with City Bank, to New York City. Tom has taken a position as human resource director for New York operations.

Matt Putnam has also relocated. Matt and his wife, Ann, and their three children recently moved to Minnesota, where he has a position as a hand surgeon and is developing a hand center at this time.
