The class nominating committee composed of Harry Hampton and Dick "Bull" Hinman has done a very fine job of filling the vacancies for class officers for the next five years. The nominations are as follows: Ted Safford, class president; Dave Kendall, vice president; Bob Joy, secretary; John Osborn will continue as treasurer; Bud Elder will continue as necrologist. The election will be conducted by Joe Michael at the June reunion meeting.

For those of you interested in Dartmouth rugby, I am happy to report that the rugby team has won the Ivy League championship again this year. This will be the sixth Ivy title in eight years for the Dartmouth Rugby Club. Its new clubhouse is almost completed just off Reservoir Road and looks great, especially after all the building and zoning problems they had to overcome. Rugby celebrated its 50th anniversary at Dartmouth a couple of years ago. Also you must have seen that women's hockey was in the Frozen Four and women's basketball in the NCAA. Men went from eighth to third in Ivy basketball. Dartmouth ath- letics are looking much better these days.

Joanne and Jack Nuber report from Fort Myers, Florida, on their July 2004 trip to Pittsfield, Vermont, for the wedding of their son, Jack. The ceremony was written and orchestrated by the wedding couple and took place in the cathedral at Middlebury College with singing, laughter and, yes, tears too.

Charles "Moose" Rowan's widow, Joan, says she is making the transition from southern to northern living in Brookline, Massachusetts. Maybe we can convince her to come to another 1945 reunion. If you get this before June 12, there is still time to come to the reunion and you are welcome.
