We'll be going through mud season when you read this, and we haven't even celebrated Christmas yet. Oh, well! December was very cold with much snow. We are wondering when global warming will hit this area.

The Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley, a very active club with a large membership, had its usual great annual party in December. Once a month members meet at the Top of the Hop at a get-together with friends and a featured speaker. The last few years the club has taken an important part in hosting and working with the Winter Special Olympics, and during the year several seminars are scheduled.

Rip's verse this month is a bit of nostalgia for anyone familiar with Hanover. When students are on campus, the lines at Lou's are usually long, but the wait for your breakfast is worth it.
