The big news for 1936 is still our upcoming 70th reunion in the fall. Be sure to mark down the dates, October 6-8.1 just talked with Boyce Price, our man in Hanover, who had a meeting with Dave Orr, our college contact for reunion activities. He assures us the College will provide us with many activities to keep us busy. And our own Bob Button and his wife, Decima, have agreed to provide some of their own special entertainment. We will keep you advised in more detail as the time approaches.

Personal bulletin: Our smoke alarms were just activated here at Ocean View. No fire, but someone had burned something on the stove, which created a very thick, pungent smoke. My eyes are still watery so I'm not sure what I'm typing at this point. Please excuse any non sequiturs.

On a more serious note, word from June Hill's daughter, Konstance, informs us that June passed away in Port St. Lucie, Florida, on December 21,2005. She succumbed to congestive heart failure and pulmonary edema. Konstance recalls that June drove Mac from Florida to Hanover for our 65 th reunion in 2001 and one last happy visit with classmates.

We also have news, courtesy of Jules Wachs '40, of the death of Steve Stotzer on January 23 of this year. Steve had just moved into the care center at a retirement community in Mequon, Wisconsin, and died peacefully in his sleep. Jules says that up until about a year ago Steve had been very active in their local alumni group.

Have a great summer—and keep in touch!
