As one who is on an extra supply of oxygen 24/7 my travel these days is very restricted. Getting from Falmouth, Maine, to our summer cottage on Chebeague Island can be a real project. However, thanks to the help of my son Fred and his wife, I am settled on Chebeague. Yesterday was one of those late summer days that was bright and sunny, but there was a cool crispness to the air that made us realize it would not be long before summer is over. My next two items will be taking place about the time you read this column—or maybe later.

Isabel Pounder is moving from the Cape to Wellesley, Massachusetts. She will be near family, and is moving back to an area where she lived before and still has a number of friends. We'll have her new address and phone number in the next column.

We understand that Ray Builter is to be the recipient of an award from the College about this time. Again, we will have more details in the next column.

It was a pleasure to have a couple of up beat items for a change. But please send us your news, whatever the nature.

[Editor's Note: As we go to press, we have learned that Ross died on September 19. An obituary will follow in the next issue.]
