This was written as the Christmas tree on the Green was still shining each night with more multicolored lights than ever—a beautiful sight. Up until December 25 it was surrounded by green grass everywhere. Enough snow fell to barely make it a white Christmas, then disappeared. However, before December ended, Hanover was covered in its white, beautiful winter glory.

Rip and Herb Bissell had a great phone visit recently, both wondering who would reach 100 first in 2007—Rip won, but not by much!

We wish all a healthy peaceful year ahead with Rip adding:
