Richard Merrill has been busy on a variety of fronts. He served as chair of this year's Dartmouth Lawyer' Association annual winter meeting, held in Breckenridge, Colorado. Prior to that he successfully represented Girls Gone Wild in a six-day jury trial in Denton, Texas, and shared his experiences with the lawyerly crowd. Also on the "wild" side, he finally convinced his wife to join him on a highly sought, limited availability lottery hunt on 70,000 acres of public lands in the Texas Panhandle. Both bagged their first pronghorn antelope. Richard confesses that since Thea was hunting with a muzzleloader and took her pronghorn at about 190 yards, her shot was much more impressive than his, which was at about 140 yards with a modern rifle.
