I had a great conversation with "Put" Kingsbury, who lives about an hour's drive from me. His life is now social, as his family is scattered, with some still in Keene, New Hampshire. He provides some input: One daughter lives in California and spends some time with him, others are in the Midwest. He loved connecting up with me, recalling the lunch we had with Lou Bookheim. Put sends his best to all of you.

I had a wonderful talk with Joe Parachini, who now lives an hour drive from me in the other direction from Put. He lost his wife to Alzheimer's three years ago. He moved to California to be near his daughter, who did not want him living alone in his big house back east. As soon as possible I am going to drive up to visit with him.

Dick Sammis '70 writes to report the passing of his mother, Rae, widow of Arnold Sammis Jr., M.D. He regrets he will not be getting the Tear Bag, which is now dead because not enough info is received to provide enough material to warrant its continuance.

Dick Wakefield writes that the Class Notes did not write up the great events in the life of Line Dick. The problem is that Class Notes have to do with the input received during the lifetime of our class- mates—no input, no output. Now is the time to get in touch with me and let me know what is going on with your lives.

Bill Adams writes that he spent five days in March in Bermuda playing what he used to call golf, which is now a lot different from the game once played. The wind kept blowing from left to right, which, combined with his ball's direction, also left to right, made for quite a scene.

Ed Reich is planning to go on a cruise to the west coast of South America. The daughter of Sam Milesky—who was always proud to have been a Dartmouth graduate even though he received a masters at Harvard—reports that he passed away.

Pete Smith, a wonderful Dartmouth graduate now associated with Columbia University, has stepped forward to volunteer to do the Tear Bag. This is a gift from heaven, so don't let him downsend me anything that you think would be of interest to the class and I will send it on to him.
