I hope you notice that this is the last column of 2008,. With the entry into 2009 we herald the arrival of our 25th reunion year! This seems very amazing to me, because I certainly don't feel that old (except when my daughter rolls her eyes at me and asks me not to embarrass her in public). I hope that many classmates are going to be joining me and my family up in Hanover in June for the reunion.

I jus: had a nice conversation with ScottSipple. He was happy to inform me that we will be able to gather at Beta at our reunion. Scott has been involved in getting Beta reinstated and it looks as if they will be ready for visitors in June. He is working with current students to start a new Beta colony at Dartmouth. (For those who don't know, Beta was shut down in 1997). Scott has enjoyed getting to know some of the current Dartmouth students and hopes they will be able to recruit a real quality group of young men. In addition to his efforts on behalf of Beta, Scott has been making some college road trip tours. His son Taylor is a senior in high school and is applying to colleges now. Scott and his wife, Susan, also have daughters Kelsey (14) and Lindsay (8). They are living in Medfield, Massachu setts. His other job (the one that pays) is running one of Fidelity's distribution businesses. Scott recently had a great golf vacation in Scotland with a group of guys including classmates Dave Fuhrman and Stew Kim. Speaking of 1984 offspring looking into college, Kathy Marshall Diekroegers oldest son Kenny is in his junior year at Menlo School and is totally set. He has already been accepted by Stanford University to play baseball for the Cardinal on a four-year scholarship. He was named the most valuable player on the Menlo School baseball team, and with a 4.0 GPA it is no wonder that Stanford wanted him! Congratulations!

Please don't forget to pass on any news about yourself or fellow classmates!
