Okay folks, I love this job! So many accomplishments and milestones to share. News of weddings, babies and— this time—the publication of a book called Hump: True Tales of Sex After Kids by Kimberly Ford Chisholm, who lives in California with husband Bill and their three children. When I first glanced at the title (without reading the subtitle) I, the mother of two toddlers, thought Kimberly ginned up a book about those Dr. Seuss' kids who ride on the seven humps of the wump of Gump. But no, this is not about Seuss' hump. This is Kimberly's compilation of anecdotes about the topsy-turvy role of sex in our lives once itty-bitties hit the scene. If this is a topic of conversation in your house, you might want to grab a copy.

And speaking of itty-bitties, let me introduce the newest members of our expanding '91 family. Paul Mutter and his wife, Caroline, gave birth to Thomas Edward "Tiger" Mutter in May. Paul reports that Tiger eats like a tiger, putting away twice the normal allowance, and sleeps blissfully for seven or more hours a night at 5 weeks old. Nice! Caroline is taking leave from her post at Goldman Sachs for several months to play and wrestle with Tiger. Paul is also at Goldman Sachs, in fixed income credit derivative sales. They live in Tribeca, New York City.

Lan Davis also wrote with news. In 2006 he married Vicky Wu and in January they welcomed Aidan Lane Davis. Shortly after Aiden arrived lan sold his video game company (formerly Mad Doc Software) to Rockstar Games. He is currently the studio president for Rockstar New England. Lan founded Mad Doc in 1999. He says he is happy to no longer be an entrepreneur; "employee," he says, suits him just fine!

In my last column I shared some information about a program directed by Anda Kuo called Pediatric Leadership for the Underserved at the University of California San Francisco, which sounds like a very cool and important effort. I neglected, however, to include information about Anda's other very cool and important effort—her family! Sorry about that. Anda and her husband, Mike Schlipak '90, have been living in San Francisco for more than a decade. They have a 7-year-old daughter Kailee and 4-year-old (boy-girl) twins Kyan and Kaira. She says they feel so lucky to have careers they love and the opportunity to live in such a fantastic city. Anda's brother Anchie Kuo '82 and sister AnleeKuo '88 live nearby as well. Anda hasn't been back to Hanover in a while but says she drools over the housing ads in the magazine. (Who doesn't?)

Finally, although it seems early to be thinking about football, you should know that head coach Buddy Teevens '79 and the football program are going to be honoring four Ivy champion teams of the past during the upcoming season. The '58, '66, '78 and '90 football teams will be honored during halftime at four home games. Since we helped cheer the team of 1990 to its Ivy championship, please be aware the '90 team will be honored on November 15 when Dartmouth plays Brown.

Until next time.
