Hello ’06s! I hope this issue finds you enjoying the spring and maybe even planning to celebrate Green Key Weekend in Hanover or wherever you’ve roamed.
Alison Crocker will be returning to the United States after spending the past couple years at Oxford, where she will earn her Ph.D. in astrophysics this fall. She has accepted a postdoctoral fellowship at UMass Amherst, where she will “continue looking into the physics of star formation in galaxies.” Congratulations, Ali, and welcome back!
Matt Schwartz is in his third year of law school at the University of Pennsylvania. In his spare time this winter he directed, produced and acted in the Law School Light Opera Company’s production of Little Shop of Horrors in February.
Faith Perez is a clinical psychology graduate student at Baylor University and will receive her doctorate of psychology in 2012. She also recently became engaged to Sean McGowan, a Notre Dame alum and fellow graduate student at Baylor. Faith says, “He proposed on Christmas Eve at my family’s home in South Texas and we are planning an April 2010 wedding in San Antonio.” Faith’s bridesmaids will include Katherin Grounds, Marnie Wolfe and Anneka Benn. Congratulations, Faith!
And last but certainly not least, Liz Allen says that after “three years of living on the D-Plan post-college,” she will be settling in Denver for two years to participate in Teach for America.
As always, I’m eager to hear what you’ve been doing, whether at work, school or in your spare time!
