Dartmouth clubs and groups have been keeping busy with many new events and gatherings!
Jeffrey I. Carton ’88 shared that the Dartmouth Lawyers Association and Kroll, LLC, a global leader in financial and risk advisory services, recently presented a panel discussion on current trends and best practices in the world of internal investigations. A panel of leading experts, including Jim Benjamin ’87 and David Anders ’91, addressed key developments and considerations in this exciting, cuttingedge practice area. Tim Koeth ’12, the president of the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia, shared that last fall the club came together for three incredible events.
In September the club had around 30 alums and friends between the classes of 1976 to 2025 come out for the club’s “Big Green Affair,” which included drinks, socializing, and networking. In November a group of around 10 alumni and friends took time out of their day to support the club’s annual cleanup of Cobbs Creek Park. Thanks to Graham McConnell ’14, Bridget Golob ’14, Rob Erickson ’76, Jojo Miller ’14, Tyler Bradford ’14, Jeff Walters ’81, Paul Beach ’67, ’28 parent Carrie Gallagher, and Jennifer Kay ’01 for spending a Sunday giving back to the local Philly community.
Finally, in early December the club met for its annual holiday party, which took place at Yards Brewing Co. The party was a hit with around 30 attendees and included a competitive darts contest, good drinks, great conversations, and an incredible performance by the Dartmouth Aires.
Julieta Feltrin ’17, president of the Dartmouth Club of South Florida (DCSF), shared that the club ended the year on a high note, packing December with events that brought alumni together to connect, celebrate, and have some fun.
First, there was a partnership with Gina Lam ’92 and DALA South Florida for a special Art Basel event. Dartmouth Hood Museum curator Jami Powell led alumni through a curated edit of Art Basel, drawing a record number of attendees. The following week, DCSF took over Miami Beach for a full day of celebration. The club started with the annual holiday luncheon at Naked Taco, welcoming 40 alumni and students from Palm Beach through Miami-Dade.
Huge thanks to Shaun Sengupta ’17, Th’18, for making it all happen. Later that evening Melany Quintero ’22 and Julieta Feltrin ’17 teamed up with All Ivy+ to host the annual ugly sweater party, bringing together alumni from Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, MIT, Stanford, Cornell, and other institutions for a lively evening. Everyone was able to enjoy a Miami Beachproduced holiday drone show and a lighthearted ugly sweater contest.
John Bash ’67, president of the Dartmouth Club of Sarasota and Manatee, Florida, reported that on November 21, Mark Rochester, executive director of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, spoke on investigative reporting in local newspapers and challenges to print media. Richard Bragaw ’62 noted that he and Rochester were veterans of the Detroit Free Press. Visiting from Utah, Brad Kliber ’85 discussed the Dartmouth football season and noted that for the first time in living memory, Ivy League teams would be eligible to compete in postseason bowls.
John Bullock ’65, Med’66, shared that 2025 was the 100th anniversary of the Dartmouth football team becoming No. 1 in the nation in 1925. On December 19 the club hosted Dr. Phyllis Brown, director of the Sarasota Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), who spoke on adult education and cultural programs.
Celia Strickler, widow of Richard Norris ’57 and partner of Paul Binder ’63, volunteers at OLLI and brokered the connection. Visiting from London, Andrea Kormann Lowe ’77 said a musical based on The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind would open in London in the spring. The author, William Kamkwamba ’14, addressed the club in 2022. District enrollment director Mike DeGuzman ’94 described the alumni interview program and congratulated early-decision admit Sophie Desamour ’30 on becoming the club’s newest Big Greener. In other local alumni news, computer scientist Zihao Yuan ’25 is entering tennis tournaments in Florida after playing varsity tennis at Dartmouth and Trevor Geyer ’26 is eying a career in finance. Mike Meehan ’72 announced that the topic for the club’s essay contest for seniors will be the role of artificial intelligence in education.
Barry Weeks ’72, executive director of the Dartmouth Club of New York (DCNY), shared many updates from the club’s recent events. This fall club volunteers helped with food prep, packaging meals, distributing breakfast and lunch at Community Help in Park Slope Inc. Many thanks to community service chair Soh Won Cha ’04 for organizing.
The club’s annual holiday season party and 100th anniversary celebrated DCNY’s past, present, and future. The event was held at the 20th floor Grand Ballroom of the Dartmouth Club at the Yale Club. More than 250 attendees enjoyed a jazz trio, spectacular 100th anniversary photo wall, and display of 15-plus vintage Winter Carnival posters. Much credit for time and support goes to president Charles Allison ’78 and the DCNY executive committee.
Additional recent DCNY events included several talks and social events. Dartmouth ’29 parent David Jon Walker, who also is DCNY’s liaison to Dartmouth parents and a Yale professor, presented “Artist Talk: Power, Politics, and Typography” at the GG & Pop Institute in N.Y.C.
Mark Feinberg ’93 coordinated the club’s second pong event with unforgettable energy, epic games, and Big Green pride! The club held a knowledge-sharing workshop, called “AI 101 DCNY,” and cohosted by Sandra Lee ’94 and Dorothy Price Hill ’88.
The parents of Dartmouth football hosted a social and tailgate weekend in the Bronx for the Dartmouth-Fordham game and DCNY was happy to participate. DCNY’s 100th anniversary talk was a true highlight and featured Dartmouth’s own professor Nathaniel J. Dominy. His insights captivated all and sparked meaningful conversations as the club celebrated 100 years of fostering “Life After Dartmouth” for alums in metropolitan N.Y.C. President Allison presented a gift to ’29 parent Angela Chen, who generously hosted the event at EisnerAmper. The event was coordinated by George Dunston ’91 and Barry Weeks.
Dorothy Price Hill took alumni on a masterclass journey about how to launch and manage a podcast at the club’s library. Moderator Tee Lotson ’82 made the program fun and valuable for all! Evan Azriliant ’87 presented a D’art Blocks event for a play he coproduced, Baby Boomers! Where Innocence Meets Rebellion.
The DCNY fall kickoff party was one for the books, celebrating 100 years of Dartmouth club magic with jazz in the air, green everywhere, and unforgettable faces old and new. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate, DCNY newcomers and vintage alums alike. Special thanks to Janet Lieberman ’96, chair of the technology committee, and Skye Ekern ’25 for bringing us into the Instagram era. As always, Lisa Chau, Adv’06, continued contributing with her years of excellent event photography.

From the club’s Homecoming celebration and a collaborative wine tasting with Princeton to the Linkedln professional development seminar, there was something for everyone. It was all topped off by the club’s wonderful annual holiday luncheon. The club is keeping the momentum going with a packed 2026 schedule!
