Elmer F. Botsford of Plattsburg recently functioned strongly in a Shriners' convention at Montreal, at which the great philanthropic work of the organization in connection with crippled children was emphasized. Mr. Botsford has been engaged in the work from its inception, and represented Plattsburg. At a later dinner in this city, at which a large number were in attendance from Rouses Point and Champlain, Mr. Botsford gave a talk on the subject of hospital work done throughout the United States and Canada.
