The lacrosse team has played two games, and Dartmouth's football stars who make up the greater part of the personnel of Tom Dent's group acquitted themselves well in a 9-1 victory over Tufts. The contest was just one of those early season games, however, and the visitors did not offer much opposition. The second game of the season was dropped to the Army at West Point by a 8-1 score.
The Green defense showed Jack Pyles and De Hart Krans, who made the second all-New England team last year, and both of the men are rugged players. Bernard Silowitz was the outstanding man on offense and another sophomore, Babe Shea, starred at goal in both the Tufts and Army games.
