SEATTLE ALUMNI MEET
MAY 1932 G. R. Ridlon, M. D. '21

Sam Barnes 'O7, president of Dartmouth Association of Washington, staged a stag party at his home March 18. The doors were opened at five o'clock, so that no one would have to go home from work. Instead they were greeted as usual at Sam's home—a glass from the left hand, and a hearty shake from the right.

Many stories were told, and high laughter was heard from all quarters until each and every one began to help himself to a delicious buffet supper. The head carver was Bill Gardiner 'O6, who fortunately could hold out until the others were all served—some job! For a short time the crowd was quiet, but not for long: "Cap" Kelly 'O9 did not need any urging to play the good old Dartmouth songs, and with thirty husky voices backing him, the vicinity was well aware of the spirit behind the party.

When the singing quieted down, we had a short meeting. Mr. A. A. Hilton of Tacoma, who is an uncle to Henry Hilton and several other Dartmouth graduates, spoke to us for a short time. Then we heard stories and other forms of culture from many of the alumni present.

Everyone of the following agreed that it was the best Dartmouth stag party ever held in Seattle: F. C. Heilge 'B7, Wm. A. Redenbaugh '93, Ned Yeaton 'OO, Capt. F. H. Hardy 'O4, Bill Gardiner 'O6, Harry Higman 'O6, Sam Barnes 'O7, Max Bonter 'O9, Jeff Davis 'O9, Cap Kelly 'O9, Chauncey Baxter 'lO, H. W. Pease 'll, Mark Allen 'l2, Chas. Ingram 'l5, Porter Blaney 'l6, J. J. Mc-Mahon 'lB, John Beranek '2O, Dr. Ridlon '2l, Dr. Jensen '22, George Matchett '24, John Mauk '24, Lenox Boyce '25, A. C. Heath '25, Wendell Wilson '26, John Parrott '29, Charles Adams '3O, Baxter Ball '3O, T. D. McDonald '3O, George Nickum '3l, Mr. A. A. Hilton and Mr. George Tart, whose son is in the class of '34.

Yours truly,

Secretary
