Tommy Dent's spirited soccer team closed its season on November 15 with a 5-2 victory over Syracuse, a New England Intercollegiate League record of three victories, one tie, and two defeats, and a fullseason record of four victories, one tie, and two losses. After getting away to a fine start with a 2-2 tie with Springfield's strong club and victories over Amherst, 3 to 1, and Brown, a to 1, the Indian booters fell before Harvard, 1 to 0, and Yale, a to 1, but finished up strong by downing Connecticut State, 3 to a, and Syracuse.
