At present writing it appears that attendance at our 45th reunion will be larger

The latest recruit is A. G. Bugbee. He writes:—"The best-laid plans of mice and men going aft agley, but at this present I am planning a trip east in May and hope to be in Vermont around re-union time." "Bug" was born in Hartford, Vermont, and went to Dartmouth from there. For a long time he was director of a Y. M. C. A. unit at Philadelphia. He is now on the retired list and lives in Glendale, California.

Austin, the Ant Palace King, has been ill for several weeks from a series of colds. Much of the time he has been confined to his room.

MARDEN'S VISIT

A '95 dinner was given by Ned Rossiter at the Outing Club House in Hanover, Sunday, March 17, in honor of our distinguished classmate, Dr. Jesse K. Marden,

and Mrs. Marden. Jesse came to America from Athens, last Summer, on furlough and while here found it necessary to undergo an operation at the Mayo Brothers Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, several months ago. He made a good recovery and has spent the winter at Claremont. California. He appears to be in excellent health. He and Mrs. Marden are now back in Athens where Jesse resumes his important post for another two year period. They sailed from New York, on the S.S. Manhattan; for Naples, on March 23d.

On their way East, Dr. and Mrs. Marden called on Prof. Morrison ("P. L") in Chicago.

At the dinner above mentioned, were Ned and Mrs. Rossiter, (host and hostess), Dr. and Mrs. Marden and two cousins, the Secretary and Mrs. Stevens. Prof, and Mrs. Holden were not in Hanover. Prof. Austin was not well enough to be present, but chatted with Jesse over the telephone.

Prof. Morrison is writing books. He recently published one which, I understand, presents a strong argument against materialism.

Dr. Charlie Pollard has practically retime and efforts to welfare work. He has established a home for delinquent girls in Omaha.
