John Carden writes that, since the first of the year, "I have been in the hospital with coronary thrombosis, closed my Boston business, gotten married and taken a job down here." "Down here" is Washington, D. C., and his address there is 14.09 L Street, N. W

Thirteen months later his letter was written from Pearl Harbor, where he expects to be busy at the Navy Yard for the duration. Ed reports two visits to Dartmouth—Honolulu.
I believe our only full colonelcy is held by Max Moyer who was so commissioned last April. That's really right up in there. According to the dope he sent for the Report, Max entered the Air Corps as a Major May 23, 1942; was advanced to Lieutenant-Colonel January 22, 1943; and became a full colonel as noted above. His tour of duty was with the Fifth Air Force in New Guinea, and he is now Class Director, AAF Class, Command and General Staff School, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas..... Roy Youmans should now be addressed as Lt. Col. He is Air Attache to Haiti, Cuba and the Dominican Republic, and can be reached through American Embassy, Havana, Cuba Lt. Com. T. D. Van Orden, MC, USNR, is in charge of the Contagious Wards of the Norfolk Naval Hospital at the Naval Operating Base at Norfolk, Va.

Charlie McGoughran has been elected Vice President of the General Alumni Association. He certainly rates this honor Attendance at the Secretaries Association meeting at Hanover in June was, as usual, very enjoyable. The buildings all looked the same but with 2000 gobs marching to and from meals and a military atmosphere prevailing, the old place looked some different. However, the boys seemed exceptionally clean cut and well behaved. The only Twentys seen during the week-end were Buster Moore and Pat Holbrook. I missed such old standbys as Al Frey, Roc Elliott and Bun Harvey.
The Alumni Office reports Art Pierce's new address as New York City—business, 1 Park Ave. and residence, 4 E 66th St. The occupation is somewhat of a mystery unless "Tr. Aid Div. Air Force" means more to you than to me. What does it mean, Art?.... Lee Hodgkins has moved back to Boston living at 1633 Center St. with the business address of 516 Dudley St No very specific detail on this one but it is reported that Irv Blaine has transferred his affections from WPB to the Surplus War Property Disposal (Treasury Procurement Division) And in conclusion, a good Twenty-five Year Report depends on everyone's cooperation. Dick Pearson is saving a space for as much personal history as you will contribute.
