Plans for the annual talk-feast of '01, '02, '03, '04, '05 at Schraffts, 16 West Street, Boston on May 1i indicates a happy evening. Reminiscing will begin at 5:30 and food will be served at 6:30. We, in New England, hope many of our group in Washington, New York, Chicago, and other distant points will be able to combine business with pleasure by a Boston visit that will have rare compensations in reliving our years in Hanover with the Classes that made those significant ones for life. College presidents of national importance are expected to join their class groups. In these years of infrequent reunions this occasion offers unusual dividends. Scarcity of labor and rationing of food demand early guarantees of attendance. Why not do it now?

The East-West '04 Gathering in Washington, Feb. 10, was a happy class event. The secretary for the group, on Peacham Blanchard writes:

Li Holton had some business in Washington demanding his presence there. I went along just for the ride. We had previously advised Whit of our coming and that "Li" wished to play the host for dinner to all 04 men who could be rounded up with the request that he do the contacting and pick the spot. Bob Moseley, Bill Roby, Alf Hastings and Jack Kirker responded favorably. Sid Rollins, visiting his daughter in Washington was a most welcome surprise guest. The above with "Whit," Li" and myself made up the party of eight. Whit offered us the hospitality of his Club, The Metropolitan. Result—excellent dinner, preceded and followed by plenty of what each man present preferred. The good old '04 fellowship reigned supreme from 6:30 to 11, when the party broke up, everyone leaving for their homes or hotels under their own power, and thanking "Li" for the pleasure given them of a very pleasant evening. The discussion of only one serious subject was attempted, and that was to try to decide just where Hamp Howe's livery was located, but so many different opinions were expressed, that it was decided to have "Squid" poll the whole class during the coming Alumni Fund solicitation.

This paragraph from a Streeter letter to Robinson will please you all:

Everything is going well with me. I have just been writing Harry Morse a long letter this morning. Harry is in fine form and happier than I think he has been for a long time. Fortunately, young Harry, who had a fine record in the Air Corps, is a prisoner of war in Germany so he is sure to come back. The news continues good with all my family who are in the Service.

New address—Howard G. Sharpe, Box 2055, Hollywood 28, Calif.

Sid and Mrs. Rollins have been spending some time in Sarasota, Fla., where they saw John Fellows for a brief visit. They were also hosts to Col. B. H. Hinman AUS early in March. Bob and Mrs. Brewer visited South Carolina for a vacation, which included a visit to their daughters Sally and Ruth, both in the Marines, who have stations in North Carolina.
