All will be surprised to learn of the death of Al Foreman in Chicago on December 14. after a short illness. Full report will be found in In Memoriam. The sympathy of the class goes to his family, Mrs. Foreman, the two daughters, and Alfred K. Jr.

Don Cunningham was on from Denver for some Veteran's Bureau and allergy meetings in New York, so was able to be one of those attending the Princeton game with his two sons.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Prosser Smith an- nounced the marriage of their daughter Jean Paris to Mr. John Stearns Roth on December 11, 1946, at St. James' Church in New York. Joan attended Miss Porter's School and made her debut at a dinner dance at the Ritz Carlton. John Roth, a former lieutenant USNR, graduated from Stamford University in 1939. The matron of honor was her sister Fanny Jane, now Mrs. Thomas W. Bowers Jr.

Hap Atwood has a new address, Maplewoods, Wayzata, Minn., and was in his new home for Christmas and New Year's.

Capt. Rollo W. Hutchinson is now at the Dispensary, Mare Island, Calif., Quarters J, as medical officer, USN.

The sympathy of the class is extended to Chet Vander Ply whose father died on December 29 in his 85th year. He lived here in Massachusetts while Chet has been in San Francisco for some years now.

May I thank all who sent cards and messages for Christmas. I shall get around later to acknowledge all personally in some way.

Marjorie Dunbar has been hospitalized for awhile since her return from the Reunion but there is improvement. Donald is in Teachers' College at Columbia working for his master's degree in psychology. He is living at the International House and enjoys the experiences.

Hope you have all read John Remsen's carefully prepared and illuminating report to the class as Class Agent. There is much food for thought and action.

Joe Dolan, who has been on the retired list for a few years, is now living at 1265 Brangwyn Way, Laguna Beach, Calif.
