A PROGRAM OF FIVE general gatherings of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Long Island was proposed for 1947 at a meeting of the club's officers at the home of Edward Warnke, Chairman of the Executive Board, 60 Franklin Ave., Lynbrook.
This program will be passed on by a full meeting of the club's Executive Board January :6 at Warnke's home. The proposed program includes a dinner meeting late this winter, a formal dance in the spring, an informal party during the summer, a celebration of "Dartmouth Night" in the fall, and a general business meeting including the election of officers at the end of the year.
Others present at the meeting were President E. Carll Buhler, Great Neck; Vice Presidents John Shaw, Garden City, and Willard Doyle, Richmond Hill; Secretary John H. Coulson, Freeport; Assistant Secretary Roger G. Allen, Hempstead; Assistant Treasurer Frank Rath, Garden City; and former President M. Rudolph Preuss, Rockville Center.
