HOUSTON ALUMNI had a pleasant dinner meeting on Wednesday night, April 30, at Ye Old College Inn, one of Houston's better beaneries, (rec. by you-know-which itinerant

gourmet). The dinner was attended by about fifteen alumni and an equal number of attractive ladies, including one of undoubted Irish extraction.

We were fortunate to be able to present the movie, "Green Flashback," which was considered by all to be pleasantly entertaining as well as expository of Dartmouth's important role in recent years.

Mr. Joe Davis, basketball and assistant football coach at Rice Institute, was generous enough to come with complete color pictures of last season's Orange Bowl football game. He accompanied the pictures with a running commentary on the plays and strategy, which, coming from one so completely familiar with the players, was expert indeed and very interesting.

We were glad to have such a good turnout of regular members and were pleased to have Martin Zinn, a relative newcomer to Houston, with us for the first time.
