After a rather quiet summer, temperatures of which made most of us wish for a little of that good old Hanover cold weather, the Houston alumni combined their first fall meeting with election of officers at a cocktail party at the Houston Club on September 16.

Elected were Dave Hedges '34, president, and John Hoyt '34, secretary-treasurer. It looks like '34 is monopolizing things a bit.

We mulled over the general situation, summer heat, damn Russians, high price of Scotch and crude oil and finally reverted to something within our control and came up with arrangements for Dartmouth Night Dinner, which will be held at the Houston Club in downtown Houston on, of course, October 15.
