Spring Season Is Sub-Standard in Victories Except for Lacrosse Team, One of the Best in Dartmouth History

This has been a rather bleak spring for Dartmouth athletics. The only exception to this generalization is provided by the lacrosse team, which has been covering itself with mud and glory on practically every occasion, thereby bringing joy to the heart of Tommy Dent. After a rousing League inaugural against Columbia (outlined in our last bulletin) the baseball team has not been conspicuously successful. The track team has missed several of the operatives who carried the Green a year ago, and in addition has received crippling injuries to several key performers this year. The tennis team has run into heavy going on several occasions, as have the proteges of Tommy Keane in the pitch and putt department. All things considered, therefore, this has not been a happy season.
