An interesting Christmas greeting from Heald contained a recent photo of him and Mrs. Heald.

Tewksbury, who responded for the Class of 1887 at the Alumni Reunion of the Randolph High School, sent the secretary the following Observations for a New Year:

SOME OBSERVATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS FOR THE NEW YEAR

"Don't be a crabapple, be a beautifulMcintosh Red."

"Keep pleasant until 10 o'clock in the morning; and the rest of the day will take care of itself."

"Today is the Tomorrow that yon worried about Yesterday."

"No Fool like an Old Fool." "No, no," says Thomas Bailey Aldrich. "No Fool like a Young Fool for he has just so much more time to be foolish."

"It is very simple, Edward, one generation pays the last generation's debts by issuing bonds for the next generation to pay!"

"A wide-spreading, hopeful disposition is your only true umbrella in this vale of tears," says T. B. Aldrich.

To our-Friends, we use Reuben HowardCheney's:

"Happy New Year to the likes o' you, Happy New Year to the ripened few Blest with the wisdom to make it true!
