The secretary feels that Ninety One is indebted to Ralph S. Bartlett of '09 for his comprehensive story of the interesting life of Ned Dearborn in his portrayal of "The rare spirit of this unique and colorful personality" whom Ninety One also gladly claimed as one of its distinguished members.

The death of "Jimmie" Reynolds '90, with the story of his munificent bequest to the College he loved, is a singularly strong reminder that after all, the days of large bequests are not numbered.

The passing of the Reverend Henry N. Pringle '90 brings to mind most vividly his long, successful and courageous campaigns to rid our land of some of the scum.

Here in Massachusetts, we vividly remember the Snow of 1888 as we view with much lack of enthusiasm the breaking of records of snow.
