Those of you who couldn't make the Class dinner in Boston the night before the Harvard game missed out on a grand time. Twentyseven members and two guests sat down to an excellent dinner at the Algonquin Club, arranged for by Ned French.

Because of a last minute business meeting Dave Main was unable to be present and our "green messenger" was detained by old man rheumatism. We missed them both as well as all our other classmates. We looked for ShortyDavis all evening, even though we knew he was in Dick's House. It seems that he slipped out for the Colgate game so we figured he might take "French leave" for the Boston dinner.

Through the courtesy of "Bill" McGrail a copy of the report of the first 1906 reunion was presented to those present. This event took place in the Revere House, with "Gig"Gallagher as song leader and Ralph Scott as toastmaster. Over forty members of the Class were present.

"Walt" Powers was unanimously elected vice-president of the class to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Bob Blood.

Many words of praise were spoken of the great work our "green messenger" has accomplished for the class alumni fund and the secretary was instructed to convey to BobBlood the sincere appreciation of the class for his efforts and the excellent results obtained.

As chairman of the meeting Walt called on Cromwell to tell why he hadn't attended a preHarvard dinner. Cromwell replied that he had enjoyed himself so much that he never would miss another.

Eric Kelly, the leading lady actress of our class, reported on the state of the College especially in connection with the Chicago Tribune episode.

Nat Leverone reported on the reaction of the Chicago alumni to the Tribune blast.

Harvey Whittemore again presented each member with a white carnation grown in his greenhouses.

Those in attendance were, Chapin,Cheney, Clark, Connell, Randall Cooke, Cromwell, Dennison, Dwyer, Frazier, CharlieFrench, Ned French, Hartmann, Eric Kelly,Leverone, McGrail, Milham, Neal, Powers,Rainie, Redman, Richardson, Russ, Russell,Joe Smith, Wardwell, Warton and Whittetnore.

A letter from Phil Chase states that on his motor trip through the northwest this summer he had a nice visit with Harry Higman and Tourtellotte.

Charlie Luck reports that on his trip West he enjoyed visits with Gus Ayers, Ralph Glaze,Cap Pierce and Henry Thrall. The latest report from Henry Thrall is that he is making surprising strides in his recovery.

Bill Page is back from his trip West and reports a nice visit with Dave in Denver. Bill retires from the Bell Company on November 30.

Sat next to Mike Edgerton at the Yale game and saw Fred Jones in the distance.
