This is one issue of the year for which class columnists are requested to keep their messages short and snappy—so that names of Alumni Fund contributors may be recorded. It will not be difficult to make this column conform—at least to the specification of brevitv: our file of '36 correspondence and miscellany is woefully bare. But since one of our New Year's resolutions is to refrain from crying on your shoulders, we will get on with the intelligence that has accumulated since last time.

We see by the papers that Doherty, Clifford & Shenfield, N. Y. ad agency, has recently upped one of its account executives, Aldis P.Butler, to v.p.

Last September, Dune Newell began teaching evening courses at Boston's Northeastern University School of Business. It has just been announced that Dune has been appointed Instructor in Financial Organization. During the day, he is an investment officer for the Old Colony Trust Co.

From Bax Fullerton, 18 Exeter Rd., Avondale Estates, Ga.: "Still running around like crazy trying to cover seven Southeastern states for Warner & Swasey (Machine Tools) of Cleveland. Everything is fine, except I don't see enough of Eba, 33; Hugh, 7; Cathy, 5; and Johnny, 31/2. Planning to bring my Southern accent and wife to the 15th. Atlanta climate is the world's best."

Incidentally, while our Fabulous Fifteenth Reunion is not until 1950—it is not too early to start planning officially. You'll be hearing more about it in due time—but we want to be sure you don't reserve this coming summer's vacation for Reunion (Under the new plan, it's still a year away.)

Dick Treadway is running the famous Publick House in Sturbridge, Mass. In between times, he's been able to complete a three months' course in advanced management at Harvard Business School.

More and more '36ers are serving actively on committees that interview candidates for admission to Dartmouth. And more and more '36ers are playing key roles in this committee work. For example, Jocko Morrison is Alumni Councilor for the Southern New York region. Serving as Chairman in other parts of the country are John McKernan, Marty Brown,Roy Adams, Charley Brooks, Bill Crangle and Blair Rainey.

Some time ago, Joe Wool sent us some very dramatic snapshots of a very cute Carnival Queen—daughter Constance, a tomboy if ever we saw one. In the series of snaps which, unfortunately, are not technically suitable for reproduction here, the Dartmouth-ette is running through football plays like a Sullivan or Clayton. Joe is practising medicine in New London, Conn., and is a City Physician.

Here are some address changes for men we haven't heard from in a long, long time. Wouldn't it be nice to know a little bit more than the following street numbers? JackMatzinger, now at 625 E. Green Briar Lane, Lake Forest, III Bill Minsch, 220 East 36th St., N.Y.C Merrill Teulon, 179 South St., Concord, N. H Paul Zens, 966 Prospect St., New Haven, Conn Joe Smith, Jacob Ford Village, 31-D 15, Morristown, N. J. ....Clason Lambert, 1635 W. Washington. Phoenix, Ariz.

Fund Contributors for 1948367 Gifts (Participation Index 68).Total gifts: $6,474.68 (98% of objective). ROBERT L. PATERSON, Class Agent.
