The 35th annual meeting of The Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association was held in the Currier and Ives Room of The Hotel Ellis, Monday evening, December 27. Forty-nine members and guests were present.

The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Kenneth Arwe '40; Vice President, William H. Watson Jr. '38; Secretary-Treasurer, Russell G. Putney '22. Executive Committee: Kenneth Arwe '40, Robert Clark '43, Franklin Peart '32. Examining Committee: W.Harry Watson '03,EdwardSullivan '24, Paul Cummings '35.

Brig Knight '13, related in an entertaining manner his experiences with Dartmouth men on the West Coast during the past year. DonEwing '31, spoke briefly of his experiences in the State Department as a consul in Bulgaria. He claimed there was very little free enterprise in Bulgaria which is under Russian domina- tion.

George H. Colton '35, head of Dartmouth's fund raising program, was the main speaker of the evening. He discussed the difficulties under which the College labored in regard to finances, procuring faculty and keeping up with changing educational policies. He discussed at some length the Chicago Tribune columns relating to -Dartmouth.

Four reels of the Dartmouth-Colgate game wound up the evening program.
