Jim McManus died April 2 after a long illness. Notice of his death came too late for me to do anything about his funeral. Chubby Edwards gave me the first news but did not say whether he went to the funeral. Later I got a notice from the Alumni Records Office. Jim will be missed. He was a good reuner. An account of his life appears in another column.

Got a letter from Kenie from Honolulu. He has been on a world cruise. He was to go to California and go overland from there to arrive home May 7.

Jane and I were in Washington over Easter, visiting my daughter and family. We flew there so did not have a chance to visit on the way.

When you read this the Boston class dinner will have been held. A dozen or more of our class are expected.

Frenchie has been doing well. If you have not donated, please do so at once. Never mind about the size of your gift, he needs numbers more than money.

This will be the last news until fall; the July issue will be devoted to reunion news. Let's have some items during the summer.
