CLASS REUNION JUNE it, 18 AND 19

It is always a pleasure to receive a letter from Dan Hinckley of Memphis, Tenn., and the last one brought the good news that Dan and Elizabeth are planning to be with us at reunion. Dan has a double incentive to do so as K.U.A. is holding a reunion in June also. In order that we may not fail to recognize him, Dan says, "I am pretty well preserved for a little old guy, but I'm not kidding myself a particle about not being as spry as I used to be. I can assure you there is nothing wrong with me but my disposition." Dan's son David has a C.E. degree from Louisiana State University and is teaching engineering courses at the university.

George Sleicher of Albany, N. Y., one of our classmates from whom news seldom comes, has written that he has been confined to the house much of the last two years and will not be able to join us at reunion. He sends his best regards to all the boys.

"Gink" Ford took time out to write from Atlanta, Ga. that his travel dates are so uncertain, ranging from London to Los Angeles, that he dares not say that he will be back to Hanover in June. He sends his best regards to all and promises to make it if he can.

Arthur K. Smith of Gloucester, Mass. is still busy making carbonators, pumps, soda fountains and ice cream cabinets. His inventive genius is the cause of many of the im. provements made in late years in the soda fountain and ice cream production business. If any of you visit Gloucester this summer "Fat" would welcome a call at 211 E. Main St.

Leigh Kimball of New Brunswick, N. J. has been undergoing a readjustment period since his retirement from Rutgers. His three daughters have all escaped from "parental tyranny" and in the meanwhile Kimmie has built a house or two filling them with Dartmouth graduates teaching at the University and thereby forming sort of a Dartmouth colony. Then this last summer he fulfilled a long cherished desire, that of building a small cot-tage up in the Poconos, where he could actually retire and renew his youth during the summer months. Kimmie says, "We are as crazy about it as two kids." With a trip up to Hanover about June 17 there is a wonderful summer season looming ahead for Kimmie and his wife.

Orvil and Amy Smith have been in Florida for several weeks and have enjoyed a preliminary reunion period with Harold andEdith King at Orlando.

Harold Comstock of Billings, Mont, reports a busy year professionally in the northwest and a rather trying time with surgeons and hospitals from which he has come out on top. His wife, not to be outdone, followed suit and is well on the road to recovery. We wish we could see you, Harold, at reunion, but we send you our kindest regards and best wishes.
