Have been waiting until the last minute this month in order to wring out as much news as possible, and hoping that I would have something a little more current to pass on to you than the information at hand.

This is being written a few days before the Michigan game, and the Dartmouths around these parts are getting set for the trip to Detroit. Having planned for some time to go myself, it's a real disappointment to find I'll be unable to attend after all. As a consolation prize the Bud Rothermels, the Bill Freemans and ourselves are going to get together at the Rothermels' house and listen to the game.

Dave Nutt had the Blue Dolphin in the Arctic again this summer and the expedition was sponsored by the Arctic Institute of North America. The trip was primarily a research job in Hamilton Inlet and Northern Labrador.

Gerry has received his M.A. degree from Harvard and is now studying for his doctorate. At the present time he is an instructor in the Department of History at M.I.T.

Miss Elliott attended Sullins College in Bristol, Va., and later attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Don is assistant treasurer of the J. Henry Schroder Banking Corporation.

On August 17 the engagement of Miss Katherine Ruth Woods and Bob Fvothingham was announced. After service in the Navy during the last war, Bob has been with General Motors Overseas Operations.
