REUNION DATES JUNE 9-10-11—to be followed immediately by Hanover Holiday.
Well, Classmates, your Secretary Pro Tem breaks down and admits he's old enough to reminisce. Do you realize that even if we sacrifice to do so, all who can should come to Hanover in June for the biggest 25th reunion ever to be held in Hanover, because (1) you will thoroughly enjoy it, (2) the committee has plans which are all-inclusive, (3) that means your wives' and children's entertainment are thoroughly prepared for, (4) you will probably witness the biggest Class Gift ever given on such an occasion to the College, (5) you will relive campus days with pals you haven't seen in many years—perhaps since graduation, and (6) this is our last reunion when most of us will be reasonably healthy (it has been my unfortunate duty to write THREE obituaries in the past two months).
When we graduated, 11 of us signed on at Montreal on the S.S. Cornishman as fullfledged cattlemen in charge of 900 head of steers to work our free passage to and from Europe. They were Jock Brace, Joe Leavitt,Bob Benjamin, Eddie Pease, Jim Howe, Gardner Howe, Bob Rahmanop, Chuck MacMillon, night watchman, Andy Edson and myself. Jock and Joe spent the summer in the British Isles on motorcycles. Jim Howe, Eddie Pease, Bob Rahmanop, Andy and I headed for Paris after London. Andy left us at Zurich to teach a chap English while he learned German at the young man's home. After July 14, 1925, we headed for Cologne to pick up Sid Hazelton's troubadours. On the 16th we five and Sid's group took the all-day boat trip up the Rhine from Cologne to Maintz. Sid's tourists included Pete Haffenreffer, Pete Blodgett,Freddy Dold, Fred Smith and Bud Petrequin. As we approached Der Lorelei, a group of travelling American female school teachers got sentimental singing "Au Tannenbaum" when Freddie Dold and Pete Blodgett counteracted on their portable victrola (pre-TV days), "There's a Japanese Sandman"—"Oh Those Wabash Blues," etc. Well, to end this phase of the story, 24 Dartmouth men were together later at Lucerne at a dance. Can't remember them all now but I think I can add Curt Abel and Lang Spring to the list.
Now I've been thumbing over the 1925 Aegis and am amazed at my lack of memory. I won't ask questions, but instead will give you a lot of facts—why?—because we want everyone possible back at reunion and this I hope will give you some ideas. In college, you undoubtedly had a classmate you haven't seen or corresponded with for 25 years—but would like to see again and reminisce. Perhaps he was your roommate—worked with you in Commons—sat beside you in class—or was on a sports team with you. He might come to reunion if he heard from you and versa vice. Take ten minutes and write him—it's as easy as that.

Madeleine Edwards is in charge of collecting snapshots of former reunions, pictures taken in Hanover and other snaps taken of classmates. These will be put into a memory book and on display at reunion this June for all to see. Would you or friend wife kindly cooperate by sending any you have to Mrs.Foster H. Edwards, 14 Aberdeen Road, Hingham, Mass.? These will be returned after reunion if your return address is noted.
This morning's paper carries a heading "1200 Attend G.E. Appliance Meeting in Boston." Beside it is an excellent photo of WoodyWilson, District Manager. All you gun collectors Blodgett, Bugbee, Merrow, etc.—can reminisce at reunion with Bill Beacham. He has a collection o£ about 200 antique pistols. About 70 of these were on display for fiveweeks in one of our famous show windows the normal length of these exhibits is not over two weeks. John Tagney recently opened a Salem, Mass. office for I.B.M.
Nate Bugbee recently wrote Ford Barrett in Spokane that if the Barretts were coming to reunion by train or plane, we had an old jalopy they could use around New England. Possibly others may wish to make the same offer to some of their far-away friends.
Connie Conrad has appointed the following nominating committee for incoming Class Officers—Whit Campbell, Chairman; HankBjorkman, Joe Leavitt, Carl Bridenbaugh and Lyle McKown.
Among his many business duties, I find that Jud Large is secretary and treasurer of the McGraw Electric Company.
