Among the 16 reporters for the Kiplinger Washington Agency is economist Bill Yelverton... you avid readers of the service should know that Bill authors much of the info on the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, trade associations, Federal Reserve, foreign trade and Marshall Plan and Council of Economic Advisors.... In case you're in New York City and find yourself in front of 33 Park Place, be reminded that Fred Gonnerman is probably hard at work inside for the George P. Byrne Company, while over in Hillsdale, N. J., Fred's flock comprising Michael eight, Tobey six, Susan four and Hollace three are doubtless making things rough for Elizabeth.... Fred passes on the word that Hoosier MikeClark and family snuk East in August with Plymouth, N. H., one of the ports of call.

Caught a program on the car radio the other night from station WLAW (Lawrence, Mass.) on which Jack McKalligat, Chairman of the Greater Lawrence Infantile Paralysis Drive, interviewed a young polio victim hospitalized since September; Jack pointed out that the national foundation had underwritten medical care of over $5,000 for the chap so far not a bad example of why we can't afford to pass up any chance to support a legitimate charity.

We strongly advise that anyone figuring to peddle any shoddy to the Kendall Mills (Walpole, Mass.) better plan well his pitch... the guy who'll give careful scrutiny to the quality and the price is Vince Fitzpatrick, purchasing impressario. We note from personal observation that Vince buys in accordance with need, witness the fine new wing he's added on his Walpole estate, the better to accommodate three fine youngsters, Elizabeth, Gayle and Jack, and at the same time provide a retreat for wife Barbara.... After really making things tick in Syracuse as special agent for Hartford Accident and Indemnity, DickSpencer is now boss of the office a right smart move on the part of the home office.
