Dartmouth Night: Dartmouth alumni of the metropolitan area gathered by the hundreds around the campfires of 37 East 39th St. on October 17, to renew old friendships and reaffirm their ties to the College. Wives and guests were also in attendance, and the evening was enhanced by many a chorus of reminiscent harmonies. A splendid evening was had by one and all.
Those You Know: Poring over his Goren charts nightly is Bridge Captain Dick Rubens '23, who hopes to field a squad that will roll up the scores in the College Clubs Bridge League, about to swing into another season of spirited competition.

The famous Winter Carnival Cup and diadem worn by the Carnival Queens achieved further renown during late August, when they graced a popular men's store window at Fifth and 45th. First time they ever sold a set of ear-muffs with the temperature 101!
New Prexy of the Alumni Council is none other than Ort "Iron Man" Hicks 'si; not to be outdone is Ort Jr. '49, new Assistant to the Assistant Dean o£ the College. Young Ort is mighty happy in Hanover, but claims he needs an assistant.
