Spring Frolic Set to Roll: Plans for the four-alarm, five-star spring party have been completed to a fare-thee-well by Chairman Al "This is it!" Dingzuall '42 and his loyal Entertainment Committee. On April 5, at the City Center, the sons of Dartmouth from New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester, and Connecticut will gather for the combined clambake, which will feature the strains of Maestro Alvy West and his Westerners, plus the College Glee Club. Veddy formal in dress, natch, and equally informal in spirit, this promises to be the greatest fandango in years. Tickets available at alumni associations throughout the Manhattan area.

Old Goats Romp: On March 5 the Club inaugurated a series of whing-dings designed for enjoyment by those who considered themselves "Old Goats;" no one younger than the class of '56 showed up. Several hundred grizzled and fuzz-cheeked faithfuls packed the Club for a fine evening of shoot-from-the-hip singing, free brews, and movies of the 1951 football highlights. Good time had by all.

The curtain has rung down—and none too soon—on the squash and bridge seasons, and the unbowed Green finds-itself somewhat bloody in both departments. A Merriwell finish over last-place Penn enabled the Kulbertson Kids to finish one spot higher, with a total of two triumphs against five shellackings. The boys from the bounded courts, despite the exhortations of Captain Ort"We'da creamed 'em in China" Hicks '21, posted a wind-up record of 11 wins and 34. whippings in the "B" Division of the Metropolitan Racquets League, while the "C" team took seventh spot by virtue of winning 19 while dropping 31. Spring practice coming up, no matter what the Presidents say.

Those You Know: John U. Loomis '15, a stranger 'round these here parts for nigh on 20 years, moseyed in t'other day. Good to see him. Cheyenne musta missed him.

Co-chairmen of the Class of '25 fund, aimed at providing four-year scholarships to Dart- mouth for candidates of exceptional ability and promise, are Jack Davis and Rudy Haffenreffer.

Jim Corbett '32 now a partner at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, Beane, Buddha, Allah, and We the People. And Paul Caravatt '45 now plugs Hunting and Fishing as its Eastern advertising manager. Nice to see such an old duffer get ahead.

Recently hitched: Court Cross '50 (to Marjorie Bethell of Montclair), Gene King '39 (to Barbara Barnes of Westfield), and SamEnglander '32 to Helen Jones of Greenville, Mississippi. Nice knowin' ya, fellas. Recent engagements: Billy Dey '50 and Ed Isbey '51.

Ensign Dick "Speedy" Leggat '48, Ike's plane-conveyer par excellence, seen refueling recently at the Club, after spreading the wisdom of Harvard (ugh!) Law at the Military Justice School in Newport.

That's it for now; drop around any time.
