Liz Eldredge Alexakos provides the bulk of news this month. Liz and husband George Alexakos are living outside of Boston where Dr. Liz is in anesthesiology and George is working for the Boston Federal Reserve Bank. Liz and George are just celebrating their first anniversary, although they are both so busy it probably seems more like six months! Thanks for the sound bites from the medical community, Liz.

Grace and Danny Evans recently had their third child, William. Danny and Grace already have two girls, Katherine and Rebecca.

Randy Bodner is working with the District Attorney in New York City and "did an awesome job on a huge recent BIG case." (How big was it really?) Wife Betsy Evans Bodner '83 is doing her pediatrics residency in New York.

Maribeth Hourihan and Tom Ryan are moving to Portland, Maine. Tom has been a cardiologist at Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Maribeth is finishing up her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children's Hospital.

Scott Gazelle is doing an invasive radiology fellowship at Mass General, while his wife is reconstructing the large Victorian house they bought in Hingham. Apparently the house has everything from hot tubs to tennis courts to its own dock and raft on Hingham Harbor. Liz also writes that the kitchen is spectacular when's dinner, guys?

Rick Silverman is doing his plastic surgery residency at U-Mass.

Cynthia and Tom Connor are enjoying their son Justin. They live in the Twin City area, where Tom has a private practice in orthopedics.

Doug Harrison is doing general surgery in group practice. Doug and his wife, Jama, an internist, live in the Rocky Mount, N.C., area.

Miguel Lizarralde is married to a Columbian woman (no further details) and living in Bogota, where Miguel is involved in the flower importing business (quite a big industry down there).

Mary Lauzon Long is doing anesthesia in the military in the Washington, D.C., area. Apparently she has recovered from her many months at sea during the Gulf Crisis. Her husband, Jack Long '79, is a urologist.

Lon Povich and his wife, Gail, and daughter are living in Ashville, N.C. Gail is a doctor, and Steve is working for Amway.

Kim Young-Maragne and husband John Maragne '79 are expecting a second child. Kim and John already have a son named (or nicknamed) Hutch.

While out running Liz ran into John Dodd in the middle of traffic in Boston (now I know why the traffic is so bad there). He works in investments in downtown Boston, owns a restaurant/nightclub, and plays lots of golf.

Finally, Liz wants to know if Tom Zurich is still sailing around the Caribbean!

Closer to home (like my home), I'm happy to report the birth of Elizabeth in April. She's big and healthy and, most importantly, sleeping through the night. Cheers!
