The Henry Taylors recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, and the announcement of the birth of a great grandchild added greatly to the event.... Steve andMarion Stevens spent a delightful week the first of September at Rockland, Maine. Edand Edna Hunter drove over from their camp one day for dinner and their call was thoroughly enjoyed.
Gene Dow is enjoying his retirement at his home in Bridgewater, Mass., with an occasional auditing job that keeps him in practice and which he finds interesting. His eight grandsons occasionally come down to see him, but not all at once, so Gene says.... HarryGilmore writes that Harry Jr. '34 has accepted a very fine position with the New Hampshire Fire Insurance Co., at Manchester, N. H., as assistant treasurer.
This number of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE is devoted primarily to the Alumni Fund so our notes are limited this month as per the request of the editors. But be sure and note the wonderful results of Johnnie Ward's work as Class Agent. Once again he has hung up a record hard to beat.
Noted as guests at the Hanover Inn this month were Carl and Shirley Owen, Johnnieand Alma Ward, and Frank and Elsie Cudworth.
