Bob and Marguerite Blood have donated a drinking fountain to the Army base at Parris Island as a memorial to their son Rogers '44, who received his boot training there and also served as a drill instructor.
The trustees of the Town of Amesbury recently voted to purchase a copy of Eric Kelly's book "From Stars to Stars" for their library.

Joe Nuelle and I had the pleasure of Ned French's company at breakfast one morning recently. Ned's disposition was none too good after a night's ride on the train from White River Junction.

Cromwell's daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Cromwell Hill, will become a teacher in the Sociology Department of Smith College next fall. She has the distinction of being the first negro to be appointed to the faculty of Smith.
On January 22 Nat presided at a meeting in Washington sponsored by the National Committee for Christian Leadership. Nat has recently been elected president of the Chicago Youth Week Committee.
