Charlie Parker has turned his dental office and practice over to his son and has retired to 29 Elm St., Littleton, N. H., to enjoy life. He hopes every classmate who travels that way will look him up.

Ben Mathes has retired from real estate and has taken over the distributorship of the Nutrilite Food Products. Has moved away from St. Petersburg and plans to settle permanently in Hendersonville, N. C. His present address is 616 West Fifth Ave., Hendersonville, N. C.

Bill Wood reports another grandchild, born in July. This makes six. Suzanne and Bill sailed for France the first of August, taking their 7-year-old granddaughter with them.

Dan Carr spent the first four months of 1954 in the hospital. Went home the first part of May and has been improving slowly, but still has to take things easy.

At the Old Timers Dinner in Boston, May 7, Art Chapin, Randall Cooke, Rog Dennison,Tim Frazier and Norm Russell represented the class. Our president was unable to be present as he was "kayaking" in Europe.

George Seager wrote in June that he had just been discharged from the hospital after undergoing his third major operation. Said that it seemed to be quite a chore to patch up his "aging carcass," but his spirit was still strong.

After almost seventy years the doctors finally caught up with our treasurer and they had him in the hospital for most of the month of July. My last report was that Helen had taken such good care of him that he was almost as good as new again.

Anyone who thinks he has had a streak of bad luck should talk to Dan Ransom. Some time ago he lost an eye in an accident. Later he had another one, in which he broke both wrists and also his back in two places. Apart from that he says he thinks he could pass the draft.

Genevieve and Walt Dakin are back home after an extended trip to Arizona, California and Hawaii.

Thurlow Gordon delivered an address entitled, "Walking Backward into the Future" at a special dinner meeting of the. New York State Bar Association, which was so well received that it was published by the Commerce Clearing House, Chicago, Ill.

Dan Hatch reports that his granddaughter, Katherine Hatch, is a junior at Wells College and her sister Becky is a freshman. These two girls have been donating their services during the summer vacation as counselors at Camp Daddy Allen, a camp for handicapped children. In the June issue of the Saturday Evening Post there is a most interesting article of the wonders accomplished in helping these children overcome their handicaps.

In spite of the fact that he goes to Hanover for an operation every week or so, ArthurHolmes continues to publish articles on food research which is being carried on at the Massachusetts Agricultural Experiment Station.

The daily Dartmouth of May 27 carried pictures and a short sketch of Francis Childs and Eric Kelly, who were retired by the College in June. However, Hanover will undoubtedly see and hear from them both for a long time to come.
