D-DAYS-JUNE 13-14-15
Eric Kelly was in New York the middle of April to attend a trustees' meeting of the Kosciuszko Foundation.
Another important assignment Eric had was chairman of the Panel which chose the Pulitzer Prize novel of 1951.
Norm Russell was chairman of the Committee that sponsored a concert by the Dartmouth Glee Club for the Newburyport Red Cross in April. Musically and financially it was a great success.
Ray Butterfield, who expected to attend our reunion in June, advises that he has been elected a delegate to the General Council of Congregational Christian Churches, which meets in Claremont, Calif, on June 18, so he cannot be present.
The new class roster should be in your hands before you read this, so if you haven't received your copy, drop me a line.
This will be the last notice about the reunion, June 13, 14 and 15. If you haven't made up your mind to be present, do it now. Sixty-six men are planning to be there and anyone who doesn't show up will miss all the good things the committee has worked hard to prepare.
Have you sent your Alumni Fund contribution to Max? On April 22 the class of 1906 was next to last in the number and amount of contributions in the group 1902-1910. Max is working over-time trying to reach a 100% participation goal before we meet in Hanover. If every classmate would send in a gift at once, 1906 would have something to boast about June 14 and Max would feel well repaid for long and arduous labor.
