An impressive turnout of 45 members gathered in New York on October 23 for the annual meeting of the Dartmouth Society of Engineers. As the after-dinner speaker of the occasion, Thorndike Saville '15 discussed the current problem of a potential revision in the accreditation of engineering curricula now under consideration by A.S.E.E. and E.C.P.D. The committee proposal in this matter is to grant accreditation in two categories. Engineering Scientific and Engineering General.
Acting Dean Don Pyke gave a brief summary of the present situation and immediate prospects at Thayer School.

Allison V. Dunn '22, of the National Park Service, recently visited the School with his father-in-law, Prof. Charles G. Hyde, University of California. Paul Meyer TT'52 was a recent visitor following his discharge from the Air Force. Paul had been in Japan with the Air Depoting Squadron. Another TT'52 visitor was Don Jorgensen, who was apparently taking fullest advantage of a day off from his duties with General Electric Co.
