Whip married Carolyn Terhune Decker of Westfield, N. J., in February. Carolyn is a graduate of Wells College. Dave is now a vice- consul in the U. S. Foreign Service. Up in Buffalo, N. Y., a strong hold-out on marriage succumbed to the Lovely Suzanne Towns. He's none other than that sly gentleman SamJohnson. They plan an April wedding.
Art Young finished his second tour with the Marines and is making a leisurely motor trip back to his home in Springfield, Mass. Not too leisurely, Art, got to be in shape for that line coach spot with Amherst. Herm Schulting was elected president of the Greater New York New Hampton Prep Alumni Association. Herm has been very active in this fine work for New Hampton. Let's get some of those big Jersey footballers to polish a year at this school and be ready for the bigger teams at Dartmouth. Charlie Ferrin is at the University of Texas Medical School and recently announced his engagement to Jeanne Allen. Jeanne is a geologist with Gulf Oil in Amarillo, Texas. You doctors certainly cover all the bases, Charlie. In Plainville, Conn., Art Sharr married Alwin Koehorst. Alwin is a native of Holland. They are honeymooning in Florida. Art received his Master of Arts degree from NYU.

Our recent Newsletter editor Bob Hunt writes a splendid letter with much good information of our members. Mr. and Mrs. Bob have a new little guy, Douglas Sinclair, born last May. Bob tells of Roy and Do Jerman's little boy, John Halleck, born this past November. They are living in Cheshire, Conn., and Roy is doing time study work for Princeton Mills in Waterbury. Dick and Bea Loos are in Washington, D. C., where Dick is an attorney. They have a boy and a girl, Karl and Peggy Anne. Beside all this and Washington's pace, Dick sneaks off for a little duck hunting now and then. Jim Von Rohr is a travelling salesman for Daystrom out of Olean, N. Y. Jim and Gene have two little girls. Bob, thanks for this fine news. Readers should know that Bob is selling for the Travelers Insurance Cos., studying law at night for an LL.B. this June, and still is able to move on plans to build their new house in Avon, Conn., this spring.
Tim Hartnett is staying close to the tobacco crop in Danville, Ky. Growler Whitman is practically a "Raleigh" chain smoker; keep the leaf growing, Tim. Bruce (Obie) O'Brien broke through that winter barrier in Leb to visit the "D" club in New York. Bruce now lives in Brookline, Mass. Dick Turk is back from Korea finishing his stretch at Amarillo, Tex. Dick is a psychiatrist and did special combat fatigue work with our troops in Korea.

General Foods is again functioning smoothly, but for a couple of weeks it struggled while AudBrindley welcomed his first son into the world.
