Ned Mansure '24 of Chicago, Ike's new administrator for the General Services Administration, was welcomed into membership May 5. At that time he gave some astounding figures and facts regarding Uncle Sam s multimillion-dollar general housekeeping program and promised a better look in the fall.
Rev. Herbert Stein-Schneider, pastor of the French Church, which meets at the president's (St. John's) Church, gave a talk April 14 on the French and Swiss Alps, illustrated with exquisitely colored slides.
Dick Mayes, Dartmouth undergraduate and editorial chairman of the daily Dartmouth, reported from Hanover, March 31. He discussed the editorial and other policies of TheDartmouth and its relationship to the College and the administration.

Col. Willis Fitch '17 recently completed a two-week tour of duty with the Air Force at the Pentagon. Clyde Hall '26, chief of the Career Service Section, Civil Service Commission, has returned to Washington following a sixmonth assignment with the Technical Assistance Administration of the United Nations in New York City.
Harry Carter '45 spent eight weeks in Paris for the Mutual Security Agency this spring, while Fred H. Await '33 was sent to Saudi Arabia by the State Department. The Club is losing Larry Reeves '33, former secretary and past president, who is moving to Richmond, Va., to be manager of the Home Life Insurance Cos. office there. Larry has been one of the Washington Club's staunchest supporters for years and the D. C. group's loss will be Richmond's gain.
